About Party Turn
Party Turn is a phone app of 12 games for two players and for groups, coming to iPhone and Android. This site explains how to play each game and publishes the free part of the app's word lists and question cards.
Who makes it
Party Turn is an independent app. The site and the app are published under the name Party Turn; no page is signed with an invented person. There are no paid reviews, no invented ratings and no player counts here: the app is not out yet, so there is nothing to count.
Who writes the guides
The guides on this site are published by Party Turn, and checked by a second reader before they go up. They describe games as they are played, cite their sources at the end, and never claim a count, a rating or an experience that is not real. Every guide shows the date it was last changed.
How the cards are written and checked
Every word, question and dare is written for ages 12 and up. No deck has sexual or drinking content. Before a deck reaches the app or this site, a check script refuses it if a card repeats or nearly repeats another card, uses a banned term, runs over the length the game screen can show, or if the mix drifts from about half easy, a third medium and the rest hard. For draw and guess, every word must be drawable without letters or numbers.
How the numbers on this site are counted
Every count is computed from the deck files when the site is built, and it is the number of cards the page shows. Today that is 1530 free cards across 9 lists. Pro packs in the app hold 1090 more; on this site each Pro pack shows only a sample of 10, marked with a lock. The tic tac toe numbers on the strategy page come from a count of the full game tree run at the same time.
Privacy on this site
This site sets no cookies, has no ad or tracking pixels and shows no ads. What the app collects is in the privacy policy.
